Fluorescent tubes
Fluorescent tubes are highly economical tubes with efficiency of 104lm / W. With this energy efficiency and wide temperature range of colours that are available, you can choose the best light for any visual need.
Wider range of power, lengths and shapes (straight, circular, U-shape) provide an excellent selection tothe problem of general lighting.
They also offer starters for fluorescent tubes. Philips has recently introduced the S2 and S10 "Green" starter.
These are the standard TL starters with good environmental characteristics.
S2 and S10 do not contain lead or radioactive isotopes. Usage of these "Green" Starters can easily extend the length of tubes up to 25% thanks to well-controlled electrode tube pre-heating and the appropriate voltage .
